Razorblade Suitcase rocks my bones, man! Synapse is greatness! lol. Gavin Rossdale is my dude completely. I'll buy any album he makes. I really wish Institute played out longer and of course I wanna see Bush back again. I'm also into No Doubt, Rob Zombie, Aaliyah, I LOVE Bob Marley, Blindside, The Gorillaz, Finger Eleven, Elan Atias, Nirvana, Danny Elfman, Amy Winehouse, Alice in Chains, Erykah Badu, Dave Navarro (excellent solo album), Garbage (I think Shirley and I are soul mates, we think nearly the same), Lupe Fiasco, Roots Manuva (my favorite rapper!)...

Great, now you can't get me to shut up, LOL.

recently I can't stop listening to the Sweeney Todd soundtrack, it's damn addicting, and tokka's love for Smashing Pumpkins has me listenin' to their stuff.

Heh heh, damn you, tokka! lol

btw, I started listenin to Machina/The Machines of God. Personally I prefer Adore... I guess I prefer the more laid back "gothy" tune... heh. I may just have to get used to it.

-->> ..all their albums seemed to reflect off personal times in their lives, i mean the band. And ' Adore ' wasn't just ' GOTHIC ' or whatever to be goth .. it's incredibly dark in tone and the general stories in the songs are rather tragic. coming from a time when that band in it's form at the time was dealing with a tremendous amount of tragedy in general.

Machina & Machina II are the swan songs. Machina actually being rather cryptic, .. it actually takes a detective to figure out the meaning of, being that i have the brain of a can of Ravioli i had, after 5 years of giving up just go ahead and look into seeing other writes ups on the album and Billy's confession about the story of it.

Now it's like this strange ' zietghiest' era and almost an entirely new band and a whole new era. Very classic and similar sounds & tones but with whole new themes and fresh outlook.

It's a very interesting time to be a S P fan. 20 years , like the damm Turtles .. and they are still around in some form or fashion.

Maybe it's all trying to tell me summin'.

I dunno.

I'll always be your whore.. ~~ **

( hey aren't i a nice guy ;p .. ?? )

Hmm, well I love stuff like that where it's never really clear what's being said. There's many songs I just stopped wondering and just love the song as it is, but its always cool to find some way to just find a way to connect those abstract lyrics to yourself. There's been many songs I never quite understood until I started going through some events or emotions and all of a sudden the lyrics just clicked for me.

Like I dunno if anyone else gets this, but Greedy Fly by Bush for me is a song about suicide. One day I was singing it in karaoke and all of a sudden I was like, "omg... what am I singin', this is about suicide!" lol, and I listened and rocked out to the song for years before. Tristan, what do you make of Greedy Fly?
