SDCC Treasure #2 - Terry Dodson TMNT sketch

Here's the Dodson sketch. Terry Dodson is easily one of the coolest people I've ever met, really great guy! Hopefully one day I'll get to meet him again (praying one day I'll work with him!)...

Wow, that's intense! Very cool sketch. I was at San Diego Comic Con too for the first time ever, and I felt like a chicken running around with its head cut off. I had no idea where to start. At the end of the whole shindig, I managed to walk away with sketches from David Peterson, Todd Nauck, and the man himself, Kevin Eastman.

I'm a huge TMNT fan and I had no idea you were going to be there. I would've wanted to get my copy of #36 signed! Seriously one of the best TMNT comics I've read in a long time. I hope we'll be seeing more of your stories in the near future!

Unfortunately, the big follow up to #36 has just been knocked back, which would've tied up all the loose ends from #36 and made some pretty cool revelations, which is a bummer, but at least it lets me play with some other ideas.

Oh man, that sucks. :( The issue is just being pushed back, so we will be seeing it eventually, right? If not, then that truly is a huge disappointment. Still, I'm hoping we get more of your stories! #36 was so damn good, and I can't wait to see what else you've got in store for us!

Nope, I had a multi-part story worked out, but the powers that be said no. So unless I can find out what ideas were liked and what wasn't, there's not going to be a sequel. I did just submit two "one-shot" ideas set around the same time period. One deals with a new street drug, the other is told from the point of view of a journalist. Fingers crossed, I still have some cards up my sleeves though ;)
