Okay, so to top off what has been something of a personal nightmare the past week, I just arrived home from pawning off some things to find the side gate wide open and the back door unlocked. Nothing's gone, the dog is fine, and after making some calls, nobody has been to my house (nobody I know at least). This creeps the shit out of me because my place has been scoped before and now I'm paranoid as fuck.

Things don't look good for pitches right now. Still got my fingers crossed, but I'll be really disappointed if none make it through, as it means I may have to call off going to San Diego.

Sorry folks, bad day after an even worse past week. Had hoped things would pick up, but it doesn't look like they're going to (this isn't a defeatist attitude -- something I refuse to bow to -- but right now, it doesn't look like there's much positive in the pipeline unless some slim chance manages to u-bolt the whole thing). It's also cold and wet. Boo.
