Umbra vs. Spider-man Unmasking

Two huge things happened recently in the comic world that took me by surprise. The first: I read possibly the best comic to have come about in a damn long time; Steve Murphy (Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles) and Mike Hawthorne's (Queen and Country, Hysteria, Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles) Umbra - check further down for the review link.

The second: Peter Parker public unmasking. Bravo! All I can say. I can't believe people are so closed minded that they're dropping Marvel books altogether over this.

Anyway, got some new reviews up!

Army of Darkness Vs Re-Animator

Tales of the Army of Darkness

and Umbra.

This week presents some goodies - Tales of the TMNT, TMNT, Umbra #2 (look for the review here and digital-retribution.com of course) along with more fun from Avatar comics for you gorehounds and franchise lovers (again - look for the reviews soon).

More reviews on the way shall include - Steve Purcell's genius Sam & Max: Freelance Police Colour Special, Dark Horse's follow up to John Carpenter's The Thing, Marvel's recharge of Ghost Rider (Clayton Crain is fucking awesome), I've just got my grubby little fingers on some MAX Punisher titles, along with a slew of horror comics.
Video games on the way include Project Zero II (because it comes before the first one), and finally Dino Crisis, Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes, Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty,Silent Hill 3.
The boss has also posted me some DVD surprises - one of which is Troma's Chopper Chicks in Zombietown (...yep!), so keep your eyes peeled.

P.S. Youtube.com fun -
This is where that awfully delivered line from the Juggernaut in X3 came from - gold!
I hate cats...hilarity!
It was only a matter of time... Vader loses his shit.
This is clever, but I am a fair nerd. Marvel's Secret Wars.

And finally, for all who haven't been to askaninja.com, do so now!
